Hi, I'm the creator behind Millie Grace Designs — a retired firefighter, parent of four, and proud grandparent of three with number four on the way!

I started creating minimalist coloring books because I was frustrated with what was out there. So much of it felt dull and basic — the same tired floral patterns and mandalas over and over. I wanted to create a coloring book that I would enjoy and feel proud of completing.

I have always enjoyed coloring as a way to relax and unwind but I had begun to feel a strange sense of “pressure” to choose the right colors and blend them correctly so that my finished page was Instagram worthy. Then I discovered one color coloring, also known as monochrome coloring.
